What is Friend in France?
Friend in France is a small French Riviera based company helping English speaking visitors to explore the Côte d'Azur region and get the very best out of their holiday.
Is Friend in France a web based company?
No, we really are here on the riviera. We're the friendly faces welcoming you at the airport if you book an airport transfer or helping you to explore the French Riviera if you reserve a guided sightseeing tour.
Can I book Air / hotels / car rental through you?
Friend in France does not offer bookings for air, cars, hotels or restaurants. We specialises in small group sightseeing day trips. For other travel information, we recommend you contact an online travel agent or your local licensed travel agent.
Before Booking
Can I book a cab over the phone?
Yes, telephone reservations can be made by calling us on 0033 (0)6 99 16 22 33. This service is available 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm.
Can I book a Tour over the phone?
Yes, Friend in France staff are available to answer queries by email or telephone.
Is my credit card safe?
Friend in France online payment is through PayPal’s secure payment system. PayPal keeps financial information private. When you pay we don’t see the credit card or bank account numbers.
What if I don’t have a PayPal account?
You can still complete your booking by selecting "Pay with Debit or Credit Card" on the PayPal website. This will automatically redirect you to a secure page where you can enter your credit card information.
What is the cancellation policy?
We provide a full refund for cancellations received at least 3 days prior to the date of purchased tour or transfer. Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for deposit refund. Cancellations must be made via e-mail, and received by the stated cancellation deadline.
After Booking
I have not received booking confirmation.
Some email internet providers can mark automatically generated booking emails such as those sent from Friend in France as "spam" - please check your spam folder for previous email replies.
Will my driver/guide pick me up from my accommodation?
Once you have provided us with your accommodation address we will confirm the closest meeting point. We meet our clients on their doorstep unless the street is inaccessible to the minivan.
What do I do if I am delayed for my tour?
Contact Friend in France on 0033 (0)6 99 16 22 33. Please inform us of any changes in pick-up time at least the day before your tour. If same day changes are made, we reserve the right to charge you from the originally agreed start time.
What happens if it rains?
If you're unlucky enough to be holidaying on the Riviera in the rain, getting out and about with a van and driver/guide is the best way to dodge the raindrops...So all services will operate as scheduled. :-)
