What is the most important advice you give to friends and family when they visit you on the French Riviera?
Take plenty of time to enjoy without rushing and learn two or three french words like "bonjour" and "merci".
What is your favourite spot on the French Riviera?
The road of the 3 "corniches". I love to drive these cliff roads, with their amazing coastal views from Nice through to La Turbie, Monaco and Eze village.
How would your family and friends describe you?
Living in the present, lightly, with a smile. Finding happiness and well being everyday as life should be. Always looking forward to "Another nice day".
What is your favorite restaurant?
That depends where I am, there are so many good restaurants all around Nice catering for all tastes.
What is your favorite time of year on the Riviera?
I am an amateur photographer, so morning light and the light at the end of afternoon are the best for me, especially during April - May and September - October.
What do you think is the “must” visit attraction on the Riviera?
Villages like Eze and St Paul de Vence, Cannes and Monaco, Nice and Antibes, are the most popular attractions on the riviera.
But places like Tourretes sur Loup, Gourdon, Mougins are also beautiful and usually less touristic. It's also a great sightseeing pleasure to just follow the coast road from Cannes to Fréjus on the way to St Tropez, and from Monaco to Nice.
Which is your favorite tour?
If you only have a short stay on the Cote D'Azur I'd recommend the tour that includes Nice, Eze, Monaco and St Paul de Vence. It will show you some wonderful scenery and give you a good sense of the atmosphere of the Riviera.
Your favorite spot where you go to relax on days off?
There are so many places to go trekking, swimming, biking. Théoule sur mer or Les gorges du Verdon are my two favourites.
